Learn how to apply the six traits of writing
from an author who uses them everyday.

I am often asked to speak to adults about writing at the public library.

I open the program by talking about how to stay creative, overcome writer's block, and find time to write. I share resources from the internet and the library. (Before the program we set up a table of books about writing and creativity for the patrons to check out.)

The second half of the program is devoted to questions. Participants ask about writing in different genres and finding an agent or an editor. They also share resources with one another.

At most libraries, this program is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Is There A Book Inside You? is a 60 minute program.
AV needs : a cart with a laptop and projector,
a screen (and a microphone.)
